Can I edit the translations?
Of course ! Simply activate the “on-page” visual editor. Thus, you will be able to improve certain translations or certain precise terms.
What languages are available for machine translation?
At the moment the available languages are:
- English,
- French,
- German,
- Italian,
- Russian,
- Spanish,
- Portuguese,
- Japanese,
- Chinese.
More languages will be added soon.

Where are my translations stored?
Your server’s database holds all the translations locally.
How will the new languages be visible on my site?
First of all, a language switcher will be visible on the site and will allow the visitor to choose his preferred language.
Then each translated URL will generate a new URL.
For example: https://example.com/my-post/ will result in https://example.com/fr/my-post/ if you add French, https://example.com/de/my-post/ if you choose German and so on…
Do I have to translate each page manually?
No way ! It is wpLingua that takes care of all the translations automatically.
Can we translate all types of sites?
First, please note that only WordPress sites can use wpLingua.
Then, we reserve the right to refuse sites that do not respect the rules established in our Terms and Conditions.
Do I need a DeepL or Google Translate plan in addition to wpLingua?
No. Translations are managed by our API integrated in wpLingua. You do not need to purchase an additional plan.
